Plain English summary: Use Akoma fairly, don't abuse it, pay your subscription, and we'll keep your construction projects running smoothly. If something goes wrong, our liability is limited to what you paid us.
By creating an account or using the Akoma platform (including the investor dashboard, foreman PWA, and all API services), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use Akoma. These terms form a binding legal agreement between you and Akoma Build Ltd.
Akoma provides a cloud-based construction management platform including:
Free Tier: The Foreman app is free with limitations as described on our pricing page.
Pro Plan: GHS 500 setup fee + GHS 350/month per active project. Billed monthly.
Business Plan: GHS 1,200 setup fee + GHS 800/month for up to 10 projects. Billed monthly.

The AI BOQ Scanner generates estimates based on visual analysis of floor plans. These are estimates only and should not be used as the sole basis for financial decisions, loan applications, or legal contracts without verification by a qualified Ghanaian quantity surveyor licensed by the Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS).
Akoma does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated BOQ figures. Market rates, material costs, and construction standards change. Always verify with a licensed professional for significant financial commitments.
Akoma facilitates MoMo payments but is not a licensed financial institution. We are not responsible for:
Always verify recipient phone numbers before sending payments. Akoma cannot reverse completed MoMo transactions.
Akoma Build Ltd owns all intellectual property in the platform including software, design, algorithms, and the Akoma brand. You retain ownership of all data you upload including floor plans, site photos, and project information.
By uploading content to Akoma, you grant us a limited license to process and store that content solely to provide the service to you.
To the maximum extent permitted by Ghanaian law:
We aim for 99% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice. The Foreman PWA includes offline functionality for critical site operations during connectivity interruptions.
You may cancel your account at any time by emailing support@akomabuild.com. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, you may request an export of your project data within 30 days.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Accra, Ghana. For customers in the UK, US, or Canada, mandatory consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction also apply.
We will notify you by email at least 14 days before making material changes to these terms. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
